About Louisa
Hi there! My name is Louisa. With five years of teaching experience, I am a warm, patient and dedicated tutor who creates lessons that are adapted to each child, making all students feel confident and excited about learning. I make lessons interactive and varied, preventing cognitive overload and engaging learners. Many of my students have gone from struggling or feeling unsure about various topics to enjoying learning, understanding challenging concepts, and asking eager questions. I am calm, positive, and encouraging, and aim to build both confidence and strong academic understanding.

I aim to create a warm and patient environment where children feel confident and relaxed while learning. I use an “I do, we do, you do” approach, adapting lessons to each child’s needs. Sessions are typically 30 minutes for EYFS/KS1 and 45–60 minutes for KS2. With five years’ experience, a PGCE and QTS, I teach primary-aged children of all levels, helping them build both skills and confidence in a supportive way.
