I am a qualified Primary PGCE graduate with a strong background supporting English development for both native and EAL learners. I currently work as a Teaching Assistant in a diverse London school, focusing on language support, reading comprehension, and writing skills for children with a range of needs - including SEN. My tutoring sessions are personalised and engaging, helping children develop confidence in areas such as reading fluency, comprehension, creative writing, grammar, and vocabulary. I have experience with both phonics (KS1) and more advanced English skills (KS2), and I ensure lessons are tailored to each child's learning pace and style. Lessons are typically 60 minutes, aimed at Primary-aged children (ages 4-11), whether they need general literacy support, SATs preparation, or help with English as an additional language. I also support children who struggle with focus, confidence, or speech and language challenges. I offer Online sessions, and my goal is to make English fun, accessible, and rewarding for every child I work with.
