About Matthew
I am a fully qualified and experienced secondary level music educator. I received my musical education at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music and have been regularly performing live at events and functions throughout the U.K. and Europe. I also have Head of Music Department experience at secondary school level.

I believe in a personalised approach to teaching and I will adapt my teaching methods to suit your learning style.
I can offer bespoke GCSE music tuition for all exam boards and I can also offer electric bass, guitar and singing lessons from a complete beginner level all through through to advanced level on bass guitar.
I can provide exam preparation for Trinity Rock & Pop, ABRSM and RSL Rock School.
I also specialise in group teaching. This may be group music tuition or it could even be for 10 hour band project over the summer holidays where I can teach the essential skills to start thinking about a career in the performance aspect of the music industry.
This will be tailored to your needs and I will be happy to discuss more curriculum options with you.

EXAM LESSON MATERIALS POLICY:
Should the student require graded examinations, they will be expected to purchase exam materials and be accountable for all examination costs.
Lesson materials and resources are at no extra cost to the student. Additional requested purchases will be at the cost of the student. All requested, additional materials will always be discussed with student before purchase.
The tutor will provide simple instrument repairs at no extra cost, however, the materials required to repair the instrument will be at the cost of the student e.g. guitar strings.l
