About Matt
I'd really describe myself as a person with a versatile skill-set, a lot of integrity and a willingness to go that extra mile for my students to succeed. In 2011 I changed my career to focus on teaching and training having spent eleven years in the e-learning sector designing and implementing training programs for the armed forces. I have a military background in the Royal Navy where I worked as as a Survey Recorder around the British Isles and onboard HMS Endurance in Antarctica. I have a keen interest in mathematics and web-based learning programs. I also teach acoustic and classical guitar.

I believe students should be able to take control of their own learning by expressing their ideas and suggestions. Using varying teaching styles and effective assessment techniques I can decide the best learning path for the student.
