About Edith

I'm a native English speaker with a C2 in German and a masters in translation, as well as a PGCE in secondary German.

I fell in love with German at secondary school and have been lucky enough to spend two years living and working in Germany.

I love teaching German at all levels and to all ages.
I have extensive experience teaching German at secondary school and I currently teach A Level German and adult classes.

I understand how challenging it can be to learn another language, especially when it comes to German grammar! So my teaching style is kind and encouraging.

About the lesson

Whether you're a student grappling with GCSE or A Level or an adult looking to build up your fluency, I'd love to help you on your German learning journey.

My lessons are highly personalised, tailored to your long-term goals. All lessons and homework contain a balance of speaking, writing, listening, reading and grammar. And of course there are plenty of opportunities to learn about German culture too!

Qualified German teacher with over eight years' experience teaching German at all levels.
