I believe English should be engaging, practical and enjoyable! While I specialise in the foundation phase, my experience allows me to support learners across different ages and ability levels.
Lessons are tailored to each learner and can cover phonics, blending, reading fluency, comprehension, grammar, vocabulary and writing, as well as building a genuine love for reading. Alternatively, I can assist with speeches, reports, contextual questions, essays, creative writing, and long- and short-form writing techniques.
I use simple strategies, guided practice, discussion, stories and interactive activities to build confidence, understanding and independent learning skills. Whether a learner needs help with the basics, wants to improve their marks, or simply wants to become a stronger English user, I aim to make every lesson feel comfortable, achievable and rewarding.
Lessons are taught exclusively in English.
