About Emi
I’m a qualified and experienced secondary science teacher based in Canberra with a passion for helping students succeed. I enjoy making science approachable, engaging and relevant, and I believe every student can improve with the right support. My aim is to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence and achieving their academic goals.

Every lesson is tailored to the individual student’s learning needs, goals and current level of understanding. I use a supportive, structured approach that focuses on building confidence, developing strong scientific understanding and improving problem-solving skills. Lessons are typically 60 minutes and are suitable for Years 7-10 Science and senior Biology/Human Biology students, whether they need ongoing support, exam preparation or help with assessments.
