About Euan
Hi there! I wanted to teach because of the impact my own English teacher had on me. They made it feel like English wasn’t just about passing exams or writing essays, but actually about understanding the world and finding your own voice. That really stuck with me, and it’s something I want to give to my students too. It’s honestly a fantastic subject to explore!
I’m especially into the creative side of English, particularly screenwriting. I love helping students see that writing isn’t just about analysing texts—it’s also about creating your own ideas, building stories and characters, and finding your own style. Whether that be for the stage or screen, there is a place for all of your ideas!

I’m a passionate and dedicated English teacher based in Cambridge, offering personalised lessons for students at KS3 and KS4 level.
With professional training through the Teach First programme, I bring a strong foundation in effective teaching strategies, curriculum knowledge, and student-focused learning to help you succeed with your upcoming exams! I have experience helping students build confidence and achieve excellent results in English Language and Literature.
What I offer:
• Tailored lessons for KS3 & KS4 (Years 7–11)
• Support with GCSE English Language & Literature (texts include: Romeo and Juliet, A Christmas Carol, An Inspector Calls, Power & Conflict poetry, etc.)
• Help with essay writing, analysis, and exam techniques with a focus on the AQA exam board
• Focus on building confidence, clarity, and critical thinking
• Friendly, supportive, and structured approach - no question is a bad question!
