About the lesson

As a dedicated and experienced English educator with over 18 years in teaching; 12 years as a secondary school teacher and 6 years as a lecturer, I bring both classroom structure and academic insight into every lesson I conduct. I hold a Diploma in Education and a Bachelor in English in Arts, which have equipped me with a strong foundation in language teaching and effective communication strategies. My teaching approach is learner-centered and adaptable. I tailor each session based on the student’s individual learning style, whether they need help with grammar, writing, literature, or exam preparation. I use a mix of traditional and interactive techniques such as guided reading, writing exercises, discussions, real-life examples, and visual aids to keep lessons engaging and relevant. Each lesson typically lasts between 60 to 90 minutes, allowing enough time to cover key content, practice new skills, and review past work. I also focus on building students’ confidence, critical thinking, and communication abilities—skills that go beyond the classroom.
