Lessons are always tailored to the individual. I aim to build a great working relationship where you are in control of your learning and able to enjoy each session. I have experience teaching students from ages 4-18 and even previous experience with adults in both Spanish and English. Lessons typically last for 1 hour but can be extended if the client desires and can cope with longer sessions (more for adults). I have a TESOL qualification from Trinity College London, a 1st class bachelor's degree from Sheffield Hallam University in Languages with TESOL (Spanish) and a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages from University College London. I have experience working with students with SEND/EAL and understand that every individual needs adjustments to enable them to succeed.

Emily tutored my daughter Lily for GCSE Spanish. She was really fantastic, patient, fun, and knowledgeable. She helped Lily achieve a grade 6 after really struggling and failing her mock exams due to teaching at school being very poor and patchy. She gave Lily so much more confidence, especially with her speaking exam, and I’m certain that Lily’s success was due to Emily’s help. I can recommend Emily wholeheartedly.
I found Emily on FB in my search for a home tutor for my daughter who was being home schooled prior to her GCSE's. As my daughter really struggled with Anxiety I was very apprehensive about bringing someone into our home, but on meeting Emily. Our minds were instantly put at ease when we first met Emily my daughter took to her straight away and looked forward to seeing her weekly for her lessons. We will forever be grateful for Emily’s help as my daughter passed her exams with A* which wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for Emily. We look forward to seeing her again soon to work with my son. Forever Greatfull. Mrs Kerry Palmer
