About Connor
Hi there! I'm a highly-qualified and experienced science tutor based in North London. As a recent medical graduate with a Distinction in Medicine and First Class Honours in Imaging Sciences, I have a deep understanding of the rigorous academic demands that students face.
During my time as a student, I developed a strong work ethic and effective exam techniques, and I understand how to help students achieve their full potential. I used tutors myself throughout my final year of college, and I partly credit them with helping me achieve the high grades that I did.
I have been teaching and tutoring for over 7 years, and during that time have received an affiliated fellowship to the higher education academy in recognition of my work in education.
I specialise in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics and have successfully taught these subjects to students of all ages, up to and including A-levels and the first year of undergraduate studies. As a freelance science tutor, I've been able to help many students reach their academic goals and have a track record of my tutees achieving top marks in their exams.
In these uncertain times, I'm aware that many students and parents have concerns about continuing their studies. That's why I'm here to provide personalised, one-on-one support to help students stay on track and achieve academic success.
If you're looking for a tutor who is not only knowledgeable but also passionate about teaching, then look no further! Please don't hesitate to contact me to discuss your or your child's educational needs. I offer a complimentary consultation to ensure that we are a good fit and can work together to help you achieve your academic goals.

Lessons with me will be tailored to individual students, but we will focus on exam technique, revision strategies and the skills needed to further understand the core concepts of the curriculum. I have developed and refined my own exam skills and techniques over the last few years and am certain that I will be able to help you find what works for you. We will work though exam style questions together, go over key concepts and review any areas of your course that you may be struggling with.
Feel free to bring as many questions as you must to each of our tutorials, we will work through how to approach exam questions, how to understand what questions are asking and how to structure your written answers.
I would be happy to work on personal statements and university applications of all perspective students, as I believe I have a good understanding of what universities, medical schools particularly, are looking for and will be able to help you to create a successful application.
I am also very happy to discuss GCSE, A Level and university coursework.

Connor is a fantastic colleage and an attentive teacher - He works excellently with children of a range of ages, and explains material to them in a concise and engaging way.
Connor is a great communicator of ideas, explains things well and is responsive to messages, always replying quickly. I have no hesitation recommending him as a tutor to others.
Connor is a responsible and professional tutor. students enjoyed his physics lessons very much.
Connor is extremely professional yet friendly; having known him at medical school, his clinical knowledge is excellent and up to date, and his organisation skills are unparalleled. I would consider him a doctor's doctor! He has a clear, tailored style of explaining topics- I guarantee he can break down any complex topic and deliver it in the best way for his students to understand.
I’ve known Connor for a very long time, he’s always been pro-active and goes out of his way to help you wherever he can.
He’s extremely motivated and makes sure you can follow along effectively. Whatever level you’re at, and however you prefer to learn he will easily adjust for you. I highly recommend.View more recommendations
