About Aaliyah
Hello! My name is Aaliyah, and I am a qualified Bachelor of Education (BEd) Intermediate Phase teacher with a passion for helping learners achieve their academic goals. I believe that every child has the ability to succeed when they are given the right support, encouragement, and learning strategies.
I specialise in teaching learners from Grades 4 to 7, but I also provide tutoring for Grades 1 to 9 for subjects including Mathematics and English. My lessons are carefully planned to meet each learner's individual needs and learning style.
As a qualified teacher, I bring both professional knowledge and practical classroom experience to every lesson. I create a positive, patient, and supportive learning environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and developing a genuine understanding of the work. My goal is not only to improve academic results but also to help students become independent, motivated learners.

As a qualified Bachelor of Education (BEd) Intermediate Phase teacher, I am passionate about helping every learner reach their full potential. I offer personalised, engaging, and CAPS-aligned lessons for learners from Grades 1 to 9. Every lesson is tailored to the student's individual learning style, strengths, and areas for improvement, ensuring they gain confidence as well as academic success.
My teaching methodology focuses on creating a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I simplify challenging concepts using practical examples, visual aids, and step-by-step explanations, making learning enjoyable and effective. I believe that every child learns differently, and I adapt my teaching to suit each learner's pace and goals.
I am proficient in English and teach all my lessons in English. Whether your child needs help with Mathematics, English, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, homework support, assignment assistance, or exam preparation, I provide structured lessons that promote understanding rather than memorisation.
A typical lesson includes reviewing previous work, introducing new concepts, guided practice, independent activities, and constructive feedback to monitor progress. My aim is not only to improve marks but also to develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a genuine love for learning.
