About Frankie
I am a passionate and fully qualified French tutor with a First-Class degree with Distinction and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK. I have spent over three incredible years teaching in France, working in both a private school and a ski resort, which gave me the chance to fully immerse myself in the language and culture. This experience not only strengthened my own skills but also gave me a deep understanding of how students learn and succeed. I want to teach because I love sharing the beauty of the French language and culture and helping students gain confidence and achieve their goals. For me, teaching is more than just lessons—it’s about inspiring curiosity, supporting growth, and helping students feel proud of their progress. Every student is unique, and I enjoy creating lessons that are interactive, engaging, and tailored to each individual’s needs. Teaching allows me to combine my passion for French with my experience in education, helping students not only learn a language but also develop the skills, strategies, and confidence to excel academically and personally. I genuinely enjoy seeing my students succeed, whether that’s mastering a tricky grammar point, performing confidently in speaking tasks, or achieving top grades in exams. In short, I teach because I love French, love learning, and love helping others enjoy and succeed in the language too.

My Approach to Tutoring I teach French through a clear, structured, and interactive method that adapts to each student’s needs. My lessons combine grammar, vocabulary, speaking practice, and exam-style activities to build confidence and real fluency. I aim to make sessions enjoyable and memorable, using a variety of engaging tasks such as games, conversations, and cultural insights. Lesson Length Most lessons last 60 minutes, with 30-minute and 90-minute options available depending on the learner’s goals. Qualifications & Experience I hold a First-Class degree with Distinction and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK. I spent over three years teaching in France, and I have extensive experience preparing students for AQA, Edexcel, OCR, and WJEC GCSE and A-Level exams. Who the Lessons Are For I teach GCSE and A-Level students, beginners through advanced learners, as well as adults who want to improve their French for travel, work, or personal enrichment. All lessons are personalised, supportive, and designed to help every learner feel confident and proud of their progress.
