About Sky-Maya
Hi my name is Sky-Maya Groom. I am a Musician who has been working as a freelance guitar tutor for two years now. I have been doing this whilst studying a music performance BTEC level 3 diploma (the equivalent to 3 A-Levels) at Halesowen College. I passed my Course with flying colours and am now taking some time out of education to teach people what I know and work on my own personal music career. I have fronted multiple bands including an Abba cover band and also my current band DandelionSquash. I have knowledge of many things within the music industry, such as performance, composition, theory, recording and production and will make you into the musician you deserve to be.

Sky is a rising young musician and entrepreneur who offers a creative approach to learning the guitar in a relaxed, comfortable and safe environment.
I aim to give everyone that I teach a well rounded knowledge of music. This includes an understanding of their instrument, songwriting, music theory, music production and much more. I intended to not only teach my students how to play the guitar, but also how to become an amazing musician in every sense of the word.
I have created my own curriculum/levelling system that teaches each student at their own pace - this has been done so that the students are inspired to do things creatively, to think outside the box and to put their own spin on every piece of music they come across.
