My lessons will begin with an initial assessment to understand the student's current knowledge, strengths, and areas for improvement. Initially, lessons will really be focused on getting to know the student holistically to best support them as each student learns differently. It is also important that students get to know and feel comfortable with me.
Lessons will be based on the student's learning style, pace, and interests with an interactive edge.
Students will be encouraged to actively participate through discussions, problem-solving, and hands-on activities. Lessons will develop a strong grasp of fundamental concepts before moving on to advanced topics and relate to real-world scenarios to make learning more relevant and engaging.
Personalised lessons will mean that teaching methods can be flexible based on ongoing feedback and progress.
Digital tools are vital in the process of online learning and use of these will be beneficial and clear for all students.
Lessons will always carry a form of assessment and feedback so that student and/or parent will be updated with progress.
Lessons will typically range from 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the subject and student needs.
Law degree followed by a Postgraduate Certificate of Education with Qualified Teacher Status. I also have a certificate in TEFL/TESOL.
I have 6+ years of teaching experience with a huge passion for learning.
Tutoring is available for Primary aged children (3-11 years old). I have experience working with students with learning disabilities and additional needs and am able to provide further support their learning.
By combining these elements, I aim to create a supportive, fun and effective learning environment that helps students achieve their academic goals and develop a lifelong love for learning.
