About Alison Claire
I can't wait to help you achieve your goals. Teaching is more than sharing a language, it's about supporting students throughout their development. I am looking forward to meeting you and supporting you to achieve your goals. I specialise in Business Coaching and Business English and TOEFL / IELTS/ TKT/Cambridge exam preparation.
I have coached dozens of individuals through their exams and careers while helping them to achieve their English language goals.
5 years experience teaching hundreds of students around the world both face-to-face and in person. I studied Master's level English Teaching and teaching methodology with a specialisation in business English at Cambridge University. I also hold a degree-level TEFL diploma and an honors degree in Philosophy, Art History and Sociology. Aside from teaching I work as a communications and marketing strategist for a renowned sustainability consultancy.
I am experienced in delivering and supporting individuals in various specialist areas including business presentations, meetings, celebrity interviews, public speaking, exam preparation and marketing.

I use the most current material to ensure that students are able to apply the skills taught during the lessons immediately and as a result, feel their confidence grow immediately. You can expect to enjoy my lessons filled with interactive activities designed alongside the IELTS, Cambridge, TOEFL, and TKT frameworks.
Methodology
My methodology is holistic and tuned to each student. I have studied and practiced all available teaching methodologies. My methodology is based on a combination of task-based learning and conversation grounded on the principles of neuro-linguistic programming.
