• When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

  I was studying for my professional accounting qualification during 2017 to 2019. That's when I developed an interest in private tutoring. When I finished my studies, I really wanted to do something with my acquired knowledge, and my passion for helping others naturally took me to tutoring.
  
  I was feeling extremely happy with the manner in which my coaching was affecting my student's learning advancement and outcome in their tests. My coaching style was exceptionally versatile as I firmly believe that not one size fits all consequently relying upon the student's requirements, I would then discuss with the student, form a plan and then proceed with the lessons.

• Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

  I've been teaching for the past few years now. I specialize in prof. certificate courses such as CIMA, ACCA. ICEAW and CTA. But generally speaking, the subjects I teach are Management Accounting, Financial reporting & Corporate Finance. I teach these subjects now not only because I've studied these subjects in detail but also because I've got sufficient experience working in these fields now. So having hands-on experience and real-life examples makes me better suited to explain the concepts of these subjects.

• Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

  At every stage of my educational and professional development, I have had at least a teacher that inspired me. I was always fascinated by the teachers who could simplify complex concepts, listen to the students and help students in the best way possible.
  
  I have been trying to carry the same philosophy in my tutoring career and so far have achieved results beyond my expectations.

• What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

  I believe and know that a good teacher must be knowledgeable, patient, a good listener and must be able to develop a good connection with students. So that the student is never hesitant in asking questions.

• Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

  During my ACCA journey, one of my friends was really struggling and was thinking of opting out as he couldn't take the pressure exams created. When I heard he was planning to quit ACCA, I sat down with him and listened to why he wanted to take the decision. After listening to him, I provided a solution to his problems and talked him out of quitting ACCA. I helped him study and prepare for the exams. Not only did he passed the exams but later went on to become a nationwide place winner during his ACCA journey.

• What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?

  Financial Reporting standards are getting updated on a constant basis to address the latest issues when applying the treatments. Tax rules are changing each year to improve the fiscal policy. Therefore, keeping myself updated with new information is a challenge but also an enjoyable aspect of tutoring.

• Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

  To be honest, I truly can't express that there is something I am 100% energetic about at the present moment. I am, in any case, attempting to be associated with many things that I appreciate, and educating/mentoring on Superprof is one of them.

• What makes you a Superprof (besides answering this interview questions :-P) ?

  What makes me a Superprof ???? That's a tricky question. Well if I have to answer what makes me a Superprof I would say that the never ending thirst of knowledge of my related subjects and the excitement of meeting students with every sorts of problems and providing the best possible solutions to their problems is what I think makes me a "Superprof".
