About Trisha

Hi, I’m Trisha Ghosh, a 4th-year Computer and Electrical Engineering student, a published poet, and an experienced tutor with a passion for teaching. For the past four years, I’ve been helping high school students prepare for the SAT and ACT at my local church, guiding them toward their best scores with a structured, results-driven approach. What Sets My Tutoring Apart? Proven Success: My students consistently improve their scores by mastering key concepts and test strategies. Tailored Approach: Every student is unique, so I customize lessons to fit their strengths and weaknesses. Effective Test-Taking Strategies: From time management to problem-solving shortcuts, I teach the skills that make a real difference on test day. Encouraging & Engaging: Learning doesn’t have to be stressful! I create a supportive and motivating environment to help students gain confidence.

About the lesson

I ensure students fully understand key concepts before diving into practice questions. I teach test-specific strategies, like time management, process of elimination, and pattern recognition. Regular drills, full-length practice tests, and targeted exercises help reinforce learning. I make learning dynamic with real-world examples, mnemonics, and gamified challenges.

Tailored lessons based on students' strengths, weaknesses, and goals and mindset techniques to build confidence and reduce anxiety. I break down complex topics in a way that makes them approachable and less intimidating.

These lessons are for high school students preparing for the SAT and ACT, and students who find standardized tests overwhelming.

I have always been the kid who was scared of math. I thought of it to be a complicated and difficult subject. However, then I started taking help from Trisha. It’s astonishing that not only did she strengthen my base in the subject but also helped me reach an above par standard. She was patient in her approach and encouraged me to solve the problems. She is an absolutely amazing teacher! Forever grateful to her.
