I create lessons tailored for beginners and learners at any level, using stories, everyday conversations, and interactive activities to build confidence and fluency. My goal is to help you not only speak isiXhosa but also connect with its vibrant cultural heritage.

Course Aims:
1. Language Proficiency: Develop practical conversational skills in isiXhosa for daily interactions.
2. Cultural Understanding: Explore Xhosa traditions, values (Ubuntu), and social structures to deepen cultural fluency.
3. Critical Engagement: Examine how culture shapes identity, relationships, and modern societal challenges.
By the end of the course, students will be able to:
- Communicate confidently in isiXhosa on topics like family (usapho), rituals (izithethe), and daily life.
- Understand cultural concepts such as Ubuntu, rites of passage (ulwaluko), and ancestral traditions.
- Critically discuss the role of culture in modern contexts - globalisation, migration, and identity.
- Apply linguistic skills in real-world scenarios (e.g., markets, workplaces, social settings).
- Reflect on cultural dynamics through Xhosa proverbs, storytelling, and contemporary debates.
