About Rachel
I first was published in the newspaper when I was 6 after winning a contest, so I was almost born a writer, but did not go pro until later in life. I have written for more than 40 publications in South Florida and Los Angeles, and later became an editor for national magazines. I also have written a book about my other career ambitions, as an actor. It is called "Basics of the Biz." In addition, I was a tutor for more than 6 years at Huntington Learning Center specializing in writing skills from elementary school up to second-year college level. I love working on Shakespeare and Charles Dickens, as well as writing essays. I almost forgot... I also have my own online magazine that I do, as well as my own blog.
