My Teaching Method and Techniques:
As a creative writing tutor, my approach is supportive, engaging, and personalized. I believe that every writer has a unique voice, and my goal is to help you discover and refine yours. I blend practical exercises with open discussion, using storytelling prompts, structure breakdowns, and character development drills. I also introduce tools like visual inspiration, dialogue practice, and genre exploration to keep lessons dynamic and immersive.
A Typical Lesson Plan:
Each session begins with a short warm-up writing activity to get the creative energy flowing. We’ll then move into the focus of the day—whether it’s developing characters, crafting compelling plots, mastering dialogue, or polishing prose. Lessons often include guided writing time, feedback on your work, and creative challenges. Homework assignments are tailored to your goals, with actionable feedback provided in the next session.
