About Anushka
Hey! I'm Anushka, a psychology major with an interest in human development and learning, and also an interest in reading and writing. I have always been a voracious reader since childhood (which I believe eventually led to my interest in teaching others English).
In my school years, I loved understanding various interpretations of popular works in literature, which led me to develop an interest in creative writing.

I take online classes, to both make timings easier on parents and students, and so more creative methods of learning can be used.
As a psychology major, I prefer to use methods proven to improve memory and motivation in students. I also like using certain psychometric tests at times to learn about the student's learning style preferences, to best know how to make learning interesting for them.
I use tools such as word games, quizzes, creative writing, and in-depth learning for students.

Anushka tutored me when I was in 10th grade and having problems understanding the English play we had been given, 'The Merchant of Venice.' She taught it to me so well that I still remember the story to this day, and I started loving English literature.
We know each other from college and throughout my experience with her, she is pretty smart and intelligent. She is proactive and punctual. Her planning and scheduling abilities are impressive.
