About Mate
I completed my BSc in Psychology at the University of Warwick in June, 2023. Currently I am looking for jobs in the mental health sector with the aim of becoming a therapist in the future. As I used to love mathematics back in school, I started teaching the subject while at university. I have been doing this for 2.5 years now, and I am primarily experienced in preparing students for GCSE's. I have a patient and friendly approach, and I'm always trying to tailor my sessions to my students' needs by working on the areas they need help with the most. My method is based around utilizing past exam papers to identify my students' weaknesses, and then systematically working on the identified areas. In my free time I love cooking, playing music, and reading about psychology or philosophy.

I have been an online mathematics tutor for 3 years now, mainly working with children who are in their GCSE year. With my new students I typically go through past papers while trying to identify areas where they lack confidence. Following this, I use each session to focus on improving my students' knowledge in these areas to get enable them to achieve their dream grades when it comes to the actual exam. Apart from strengthening specific areas, I also provide my students with mock exams, when they go through a timed past paper just as they would do in the real exam. This way, they will have the confidence to tackle their maths GCSE. My sessions are usually 50 minutes long, but I tend to go over that by a few minutes if we are in the middle of something.
