About Pankhuri
My name is Pankhuri, and I come from India. I fell in love with yoga around 5 years ago and I was drawn to learning more about its philosophies, teachings, and origin. My first yoga teacher was highly encouraging and I believe it takes a true teacher to show their students the path they want to take. The more I learned about yoga, the more I learned about myself. I started teaching soon after completing my teachers' training course in India upon the requests of my friends and family. I thoroughly enjoyed helping people and received feedback that kept me going.
I then moved to Glasgow and completed my MSc in Psychology from the University of Glasgow. I have been working with individuals with mental health conditions. I would love to help people reach their greatest potential of leading a happy and healthy life, by focusing on their body’s and mind’s needs, individually or in group classes.

When working one-on-one, I make personalised yoga routines directed to each individual's requirements. I am also certified in Ayurveda lifestyle consultation to be able to focus on a holistic health plan. I am a registered 200-hour yoga teacher and psychology graduate from the University of Glasgow, wanting to help people by combining the physical and mental aspects of a human being.
In group classes, I focus on the overall goal of the class with clear instructions and demonstration. I mainly teach Hatha, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga Yoga in groups considering the physical and emotional limitations of each individual in the class.
