I hail from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a degree in Creative Writing. I’ve also published five novels, four of them in the horror genre. I am a prolific poet as well in several genres, including horror. And I also work as a content marketer in various industries.

Being compared to Stephen King comes with its perks. But to be more exact, writing suspense and horror isn’t about setting up scenarios that could easily “scare” a character (the one you’re actually trying to scare is the READER).
Rather, it’s about writing scenes that are believable. And it sometimes means asking yourself what really scares you (not the character).
