About Romy
I am a piano teacher with over 9 years of experience and an Associate of Music in Piano Skills. I specialize in teaching students preparing for worship leading, community theater, and professional wedding band work. Every lesson is designed to match each student’s goals and interests. I emphasize sight-reading, improvisation, chord patterns, and ensemble collaboration. Students gain the skills to perform confidently in live situations. Lessons combine technical mastery with musical expression. I focus on building both confidence and creativity. Sessions are motivating, interactive, and tailored to learning styles. Students develop their unique musical voice while preparing for performance. Whether accompanying singers, leading worship, or playing gigs, I guide students toward success. I teach piano with a focus on sight-reading mastery. My systematic approach strengthens visual-to-finger coordination and reading accuracy. Lessons include sight-reading exercises, speed reading, interval identification, and rhythmic drills.
Child Prodigies and Hobbyist Adults receive structured guidance to play new pieces confidently. I emphasize patterns, rhythm, and technical accuracy. Sessions are motivating, practical, and tailored to each student.
Students gradually improve reading fluency while building finger agility. Lessons encourage independence and confidence at the keyboard. Sight-reading becomes a skill students can rely on.
