About Aubrey
My passion for programming began with the desire to create meaningful applications from logical instructions. This led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Computer Science, where I explored programming languages, data structures, and algorithmic thinking in depth. Over 8 years, I have taught learners from novice coders to advanced students preparing for competitions, academic projects, and career applications. I focus on building confidence, conceptual understanding, and practical experience, enabling students to write functional, efficient, and creative code.
I emphasize tailored lessons, patience, and interactive learning. Beginners are introduced to fundamental coding concepts with clear examples and exercises. Intermediate learners develop problem-solving strategies, debugging skills, and structured program development. Advanced students engage with complex algorithms, project implementation, and optimization techniques, cultivating both technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills. I encourage independent thinking, experimentation, and curiosity, allowing learners to explore programming in depth and gain confidence.
Outside the classroom, I continually explore new programming languages, frameworks, and technologies, ensuring lessons remain current and relevant. I integrate real-world applications, coding challenges, and project work into teaching, making programming both practical and engaging. Witnessing students transform from uncertain beginners to confident, capable programmers is deeply rewarding. My ultimate goal is to equip learners with the skills, mindset, and confidence to tackle programming challenges effectively, creatively, and independently.

Students are guided to approach challenges methodically, break down problems, and develop solutions confidently, promoting long-term skill retention and self-assurance in programming.
