About Hriday
My passion for programming began with curiosity about how logical structures can solve real-world problems. This led me to pursue an M.Sc in Computer Science, where I gained a strong foundation in algorithms, software design, and computational thinking. Over 9 years of teaching, I have mentored students ranging from beginners writing their first programs to advanced learners developing complex projects. My teaching philosophy emphasizes understanding the reasoning behind code rather than rote memorization, allowing learners to become confident and independent problem-solvers. I focus on adapting lessons to each student’s learning style, using diagrams, pseudocode, analogies, and interactive exercises. I encourage experimentation, iterative learning, and learning from mistakes, creating a supportive and motivating environment. Beyond the classroom, I remain actively engaged in programming projects, emerging technologies, and continuous learning. Teaching programming is deeply rewarding because I witness students transform from uncertainty to technical proficiency, creativity, and independence. Observing their growth inspires me to continually refine my teaching methods.

Programming becomes intuitive when students understand the logic behind each line of code rather than relying on memorization. My lessons emphasize algorithmic thinking, structured problem-solving, and practical application of programming concepts. I guide students through variables, loops, conditional statements, functions, and modular programming with clear, step-by-step explanations and hands-on exercises. Lessons also focus on debugging, program flow analysis, and translating abstract ideas into working applications, building both technical skills and analytical reasoning.
Lesson content is adapted to the student’s experience. Beginners focus on syntax, logical sequencing, and writing simple programs. Intermediate learners explore modular design, algorithm optimization, debugging strategies, and project development. Advanced learners focus on software architecture, data structures, complex algorithms, and full-scale project implementation. Each session includes guided exercises, discussion, and feedback to ensure mastery and confidence.
Programming lessons also foster creativity, resilience, and independent thinking. As students gain confidence, they experiment with their own solutions and enjoy building functional applications from abstract concepts. My goal is to equip learners with technical expertise and a logical mindset that empowers them to approach programming challenges independently and effectively.
