About Arielle
My fascination with programming began during my M.Sc in Computer Science when I realized the power of logical thinking to create meaningful solutions. Over the past eight years, I have taught students from beginners to advanced coders, helping each develop confidence, skill, and a problem-solving mindset. I enjoy creating a learning environment that is supportive, patient, and encourages exploration and curiosity in programming. Throughout my career, I have focused on helping learners understand not just how code works, but why it works. I emphasize problem decomposition, logical reasoning, and structured practice to ensure students gain mastery over programming concepts. Many learners arrive with anxiety or uncertainty, but through careful guidance and practical examples, they gradually develop competence, independence, and enthusiasm for coding. Outside teaching, I continue exploring new technologies, coding practices, and programming challenges. I enjoy developing projects, learning about emerging tools, and applying concepts in practical ways. Bringing these experiences into the classroom keeps lessons engaging, relevant, and inspiring. My goal is to help students succeed academically, develop real-world coding skills, and cultivate a lasting appreciation for computer programming.

My programming lessons start with foundational concepts like variables, data types, loops, and conditional statements. I introduce these topics through clear explanations, step-by-step coding demonstrations, and hands-on practice. Beginners learn to structure small programs, debug errors, and develop logical thinking, gaining confidence as they see their code work in real time. The early focus is on creating a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to experiment and problem-solve.
As learners advance, we explore functions, modular programming, object-oriented concepts, data structures, and algorithm design. Students practice creating more complex programs and understanding the logic behind each step. Real-world examples and mini-projects reinforce problem-solving skills while helping learners connect theory to practical applications. By developing structured thinking, debugging strategies, and creative coding habits, students gain both skill and confidence.
For advanced learners or exam-focused students, lessons cover algorithm optimization, API integration, software design patterns, and project planning. I provide guidance on solving multi-step coding problems, analyzing efficiency, and applying knowledge to real-world applications. Students practice timed exercises, code review, and complex problem-solving. My goal is to build learners’ confidence, technical competence, and creativity, empowering them to develop software solutions and succeed academically and professionally.
