About Leira
My journey in programming began during my Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, where I developed a strong interest in how software is built and how logical thinking shapes development. I was fascinated by how simple instructions can be combined to create useful and powerful applications. Over the past 9 years, I have worked with many students, helping them understand programming concepts clearly and build confidence through consistent and structured learning.
I believe that programming should be taught in a way that focuses on understanding and not memorization. My teaching style includes clear step-by-step explanations, practical examples, and regular coding practice. I encourage students to ask questions freely and explore different approaches to solving problems. I also take time to understand each student’s pace and adapt my teaching approach so they feel comfortable and supported throughout their learning process.
Outside of teaching, I continue working on small programming projects and learning about new tools and technologies. This helps me keep my lessons updated and relevant. Teaching programming is very meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students grow from beginners into confident learners who can think independently, solve problems effectively, and build useful programs with clarity and confidence.

Programming becomes easier when students understand how to think clearly and logically rather than trying to memorize syntax without purpose. In my lessons, I focus on building strong foundations through simple explanations and structured learning. We begin with basic concepts such as variables, conditions, loops, and simple programs. I guide students step by step using clear examples so they understand how each part of the code works. This helps them feel comfortable and confident from the beginning.
As students improve, I introduce more advanced topics such as functions, object-oriented programming, data structures, and problem-solving techniques. I explain each concept in a simple and clear way so students can apply their knowledge in real coding situations. Each lesson includes hands-on practice, exercises, and debugging sessions. I also support students in understanding their mistakes and learning how to correct them, which helps build independence and confidence over time.
Programming lessons also help students develop patience, logical thinking, and structured problem-solving skills. They learn how to approach complex tasks by breaking them into smaller steps and solving them carefully. Over time, students gain confidence and begin to enjoy creating their own programs. My goal is to help learners become confident programmers who can think clearly and solve problems independently.
