About Sia
My interest in programming started when I became curious about how software and applications are created. This led me to pursue a Master’s in Computer Science, where I gained strong knowledge in coding and software development. Over the past 7 years, I have helped students learn programming in a simple and effective way. My experience has allowed me to understand common challenges and guide students with patience and clarity.
I believe that programming should be taught in a way that is easy to understand and enjoyable. My teaching style focuses on breaking down concepts into smaller steps and using examples to explain ideas clearly. I encourage students to practise regularly and explore different solutions, which helps them build confidence and independence. I also provide continuous feedback to support their learning journey.
Outside teaching, I enjoy learning new programming tools and exploring modern technologies. This helps me keep my lessons updated and relevant. Teaching programming is fulfilling because I get to see students grow from beginners into confident learners. Helping them develop strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking is something I truly enjoy and value.

Programming becomes clear when students understand how logic is used to build solutions step by step. In my lessons, I focus on teaching concepts such as variables, loops, conditions, functions, and basic data structures in a simple and structured way. I guide students carefully so they understand how each part of the code works. I use small exercises and real-life examples to make learning practical and engaging. Each session is designed to create a comfortable environment where students feel free to ask questions and learn at their own pace without pressure.
As students improve, lessons become more focused on solving problems and building structured programmes. Beginners start with simple coding exercises and guided practice. Intermediate learners work on organising code, debugging, and improving logic. Advanced learners focus on algorithms, efficiency, and building projects. I provide regular practice tasks, feedback, and revision to help students strengthen their skills. This step-by-step approach ensures steady progress and confidence in programming.
Programming also helps students develop logical thinking, patience, and creativity. As they grow, they begin to approach problems in a structured way and build solutions independently. They learn to break down complex tasks into smaller steps and think more clearly. My goal is to help students become confident coders and develop skills that are valuable for their future learning and career paths.
