About Dannah
I started piano at the age of six and vocal lessons at the age of 16. I have been in professional and school choirs since I was 10. I have been composing and arranging my own music since I was 14. I have given private piano and voice lessons for three years in college while I studied music theory and vocal performance. I was an assistant teacher for a world music cultures class where the students learned music concepts from many cultural traditions.

Music as a subject is very active. Whatever the specific topic it is important to learn each music concept in terms of visual and audible representation. Being able to connect the body's involvement, to an instrument , to the corresponding notation is very important and achievable through practice and one on one instruction. I try to tailor each lesson based on the persons skill level, desired outcome, and learning style/ personality, so as to ensure a productive and positive experience.
