About Amadea
Amadea Nathania Pranoto, an Indonesian violinist who started music at the age of 4, is the 1st winner of Charleston International Music Spring Competition 2021. From the age of nine, she began to learn violin under the tutelage of Pratiwi Asmorowati and later, studied under Shienny Kurniawati in 2014 where she successfully held a Solo Recital playing works by Beethoven in 2016 and Mozart Concerto in 2022. She is selected as a participant from Indonesia in the Korean Symphony Orchestra (KSO) international academy and performed with KSO at Seoul Arts Center on December 4,2021 in South Korea.
She worked together with a prominent Indonesian composer and pianist, Ananda Sukarlan, before completing ARSM (Associate of the Royal Schools of Music) in Violin Performance with the highest distinction mark in Indonesia. Amadea had a role as a 1st violinist in Jakarta Concert Orchestra and later played with Japan Worldship Orchestra concert where she was featured as the violinist in a quartet chamber.
She is also a member of String Orchestra of Surabaya at the “Magical Music Night” concert, Musical Journey II & III with guest conductor Addie MS, French Spring Festival, and Klasik Asik Concert. Additionally, she participated in a Violin Master Class with Yin Ke, the String Programme Leader in NAFA School of Young Talents and Gia Jashvili from Germany. At present, she participates in many orchestras as a soloist and violinist and has started her own teaching career.
