About Mariel
I’m Mariel Nelson, a vocalist and vocal coach, passionate about helping singers discover their authentic voice while enjoying the process of making music. As a performer, I’ve had the privilege of sharing my voice in live events, studio recordings and diverse musical settings, which has shaped my approach to teaching: expressive, practical, and rooted in real performance experience. My lessons focus on vocal technique, breath control, tone development, interpretation, and performance confidence, blending styles like pop, jazz, and contemporary music. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your skills, I create a supportive space where you can grow at your own pace and unlock your unique sound. Song Interpretation We work on songs you love and focus on making them your own through style, emotion, and authentic delivery. 4. Performance Skills If you’re performing or auditioning, we work on stage presence, mic technique, and emotional connection so you feel confident on stage. 5. Feedback & Growth Each lesson ends with clear guidance and goals so you can keep improving consistently and feel your progress over time.
