About Khanum
I am a classically trained pianist and a graduate of the State Musical College named after Romanos Melikyan. I received a strong foundation in classical piano performance and musicianship through formal academic training.
I have worked as a professional accompanist at the Armavir State College of Art, collaborating with students and performers in an academic setting. In addition to teaching and accompanying, I have performed on stages across Armenia, gaining extensive experience as a performing musician.
I offer private piano lessons for beginner to advanced students, with instruction available in Armenian and Russian, and basic communication in English.

Lessons are offered in hourly or half-hour private sessions, depending on the student’s age and level. Each lesson follows a clear structure while remaining flexible to the student’s needs.
My teaching focuses primarily on classical piano training, with an emphasis on:
• Proper posture, hand position, and finger technique
• Reading music and rhythm from the beginning
• Scales, exercises, and etudes to build strong technical foundations
• Classical repertoire appropriate to the student’s level
• Musical expression, phrasing, and listening skills
Beginners start with fundamentals and gradually build confidence at the keyboard. Intermediate and advanced students work on refining technique, expanding repertoire, and improving musical interpretation. Lessons are individualized, ensuring steady progress at a comfortable pace.
Lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults.
