About Kathleen
I am a professional photographer, with a post secondary degree in digital photography. I have been working in the industry since 2014, and have experience with weddings, events, portraiture, product/commercial photography as well as stock photography (currently with Getty/iStock). I pioneered the birth photography trend in Halifax, NS, and am the founder of Atlantic Stillbirth Photography.

I am very laid back, and my teaching methods are reflective of that. We will use skill building exercises, weekly challenges and peer review/critique to develop and build a professional portfolio. In addition, we will study behind the scenes camera set ups and attempt to re-create professional images seen in our every day world.

I charge a travel fee of $50 to reach students more than 100kms away from my home studio location.
Class can be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance. Refunds are not available - credit will be given if necessary to rebook at a later time. Classes must be paid for in advance.
