About Michael
I have studied classical guitar for 8 years, and worked as a professional actor-musician, musician and composer for theatre for the last 10 years. As a musician I have worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company and National Youth Theatre amongst others.
My musical practice is focused upon enjoyment and creativity, underpinned by technical proficiency and a solid theoretical understanding which allows for freedom and expression through music.

I offer holistic music tuition that focuses on connection to and enjoyment of music. I focus on technical aspects of playing, learning of core pieces that delivery technique and understanding of the instrument. I also focus heavily on musicianship, connection to music, using music as a form of communication, as well as improvisation.
Lessons will be structured according to each pupils needs but generally will consist of
