About Tim
I'm an extremely versatile musician having professional experience as an orchestral, chamber and solo cellist in addition to working commercially as a classical recording editor and engineer. Most of my recording work has appeared on record labels such as Sony, Decca, and Naxos.
I have taught cello privately since 2015 and at Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama Junior department since May 2018 and am committed to finding each students unique path to facilitate their technical knowledge of the instrument whilst nurturing their love of the cello.

During your cello lesson, I will strive to understand how you play and guide you through any limitations drawing from my own experience. I can offer tuition in music theory in preparation for music theory exams to musicians of all disciplines.
I also offer tuition in music production with DAW software. Ideally for musicians looking for assistance on their own recordings or Music Technology students looking for tutoring on their coursework. I offer classes on mixing, mastering, editing, and sequencing as well as beginners classes for anyone who wants to learn the basics of Digital Audio Workstations and computer aided music production.
