About Laura
Hello! I'm a Musical Theatre graduate and actor who currently teaches Singing, Drama and LAMDA prep at different schools around London as well as tutoring Acting, Clarinet and Singing. I love teaching my favourite subjects to people who are looking for a fun learning experience. I recently got certified as a vocal coach with Functional Voice Training but I have also trained in singing using other techniques, including Estill Voice Training. I love learning about and playing with the voice, that's why my big dissertation for my MT degree was about training the voice and exploring its limits with fun exercises. I graduated from The MTA with a diploma in Musical Theatre in 2019 and have been working as a professional singer/actor/musician since then.

I believe in adapting my lessons to every student, their needs and interests. I have extensive knowledge in Acting Theory and I'm also getting familiar with the LAMDA examinations. I have taught people from 4-18 years old so far and would also love to help people with their Drama School audition prep. I usually begin my lessons with a little warm-up and I always try to use games and ways to reach our goals in a playful way, whilst always based on the theory I've learnt and the experience I have gained on my journey as an actor.

Laura is a great singing teacher to my daughter, she makes her feel very comfortable and my daughter loves her singing lessons. She is improving all the time, which is lovely to see. Laura always makes the lessons fun and enjoyable.

Laura is an accomplished instrumentalist and singer as well as a trained actor. She's got a great sense of humour which makes her a lot of fun to work with, and her performing experience really rounds out her ability to help students with not only the technical sides of playing but the nuances of performance as well.
Laura does a great job at teaching good technique while making the sessions fun. I had never done any singing before and I have improved very quickly. Laura asks students what they would like to achieve and she is very good at guiding them to attain their goal!
Laura is a wonderful teacher who I knew before I even found out about Superprof! She made adjusted the lesson so it was just right for my ability and I saw improvement very quickly. I would highly recommend!
