About Tessa
I am a mathematics tutor with over five years of experience teaching school and university students. I hold a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science. My focus is on helping students improve how they communicate and explain math ideas. I guide them in writing coherent arguments, presenting solutions clearly, and developing strong logical reasoning. I work closely with students on university essays, research papers, and presentations. My approach is clear, structured, and interactive, making challenging topics understandable. I encourage students to express themselves confidently in both writing and discussion. Assignments and exercises are tailored to strengthen clarity and reasoning. I aim to help students see connections between math and computational thinking. Together, we build both understanding and confidence. Learning becomes engaging and practical. I love seeing students take pride in explaining math effectively. Let’s make mathematical expression clear and enjoyable!

I teach mathematics by connecting it to programming and computational thinking. My lessons cover discrete math, algorithmic logic, and problem-solving strategies. I use clear examples and programming analogies to make concepts tangible. Students learn to think logically and structure arguments effectively. I focus on building both understanding and confidence. Assignments are practical, helping them apply math in coding and real-life scenarios. I encourage students to explore, experiment, and communicate their reasoning clearly. Together, we approach problems like architects and proof seekers. My sessions are flexible but goal-oriented. I aim to make math part of their digital life. Learning becomes interactive, enjoyable, and deeply rewarding. Every student is supported to excel naturally.
