About Mia
I am a native Korean speaker and I am currently living in the UK with my family. I studied Korean Language Education for Foreigners at University and I have a master's degree in Education. I have been teaching Korean for the last 5 years on and offline with students from different backgrounds. I teach a range of ages from children to adults at a Korean school in the UK. Perfect! Mia is an excellent Korean language tutor whose teaching experience really comes through in her lessons. She has really helped me work through some grammar issues I had, and she is also quite flexible in terms of topics, special vocabulary, etc. Her homework is a great mix of reading, speaking, and writing, and thus her lessons feel more like an actual course which extends far beyond the in-person sessions. Strongly recommend, especially for anyone wanting to learn in-person in Edinburgh!

Perfect! Mia puts a great deal of work into preparing each lesson. I have learned so much in a very short period of time because of Mia’s dedication. - Su is an extremely hard worker. She already speaks several other languages so her understanding of languages is very high. She is always very well prepared for my lessons. Also, she is often proactive and looks ahead to next lessons. However, I would rather her to consolidate and learn more deeply the lessons/material I previously taught rather than looking ahead. She should also aim to improve her speaking skills. Her grammar is very good and so is her understanding of when to use it - just needs more speaking practice!
