About Esther
As a native speaker of both Cantonese and Mandarin, with a strong educational background from Hong Kong and teaching experience in the UK, I bring both authenticity and professionalism to every lesson. I have completed a certified Teaching Assistant course in the UK and worked closely with primary school students, helping them build language skills in a fun and structured way. A typical lesson lasts 45 to 60 minutes and includes a mix of speaking, listening, reading, and basic writing (if needed), depending on the student’s preferences. I often use visual aids, everyday scenarios, games (especially for younger learners), and cultural references to keep lessons both practical and engaging. I completed a Teaching Assistant course in the UK and have over two years of experience working with primary school students in both Cantonese and Mandarin instruction. This background has helped me develop patience, clear communication skills, and a flexible teaching style that adapts to different learning speeds. My lessons are ideal for children, beginners, or anyone looking to build a strong foundation in Cantonese or Mandarin.
