About Rachel
I have been working as a designer professionally for 5 years in LA. Recently, I have shifted my focus to becoming a full-time fine artist. I specialize in colored pencil, graphite, pen, painting, collaging, and graphic design.
I believe there is so much more than just a beautiful piece to come out of creating art. My daily creative practices have given me organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills that other subjects had failed to instill in me. I can confidently credit my artistic endeavors for the tenacity and perseverance I possess today.
I am a multidisciplinary artist, and have many skills outside of my specialty including:

Making the form more LIVELY! Shading, painting, color theory. Learning how to bring the subjects to the foreground, create focal points, and control the mood of each piece.
Design
Working with typography and imagery. Let's master balance in compositions using color, visual weight, and directionality.
Portfolio Review / Critique
Present a project or body of work for constructive feedback. Perfect for art school apps or just another set of eyes to gain clarity.
