About Alfie
I am a dedicated flute tutor who believes learning music should be inspiring and enjoyable. My lessons combine creativity, accountability, and critical thinking. I help students build strong fundamentals in tone, phrasing, rhythm, and breath control. I also teach theory, sight-reading, and ear training to strengthen overall musicianship. I act as a mentor, guiding students to reflect on their progress and develop independent practice skills. Creativity is encouraged through improvisation, composition, and musical storytelling. Accountability ensures that students stay consistent and track their progress. Mistakes are treated as valuable learning opportunities. My approach to flute teaching is guided by creativity and accountability. I see every student as a unique learner who needs both support and challenge.
