About John
I have earned a successful living for over 50 years with the English language. Writing skills include TV scripts, advertising copy, two books, news/current affairs stories, magazine editor. Very capable public speaker.
Yes ... I am a grammar nerd ... but, this means you don't have to be! I recently worked for 5 years in China as an ESL and Business English Teacher and IELTS and PTE Tutor. I have continued since returning to Melbourne with remarkable success. I also teach ESL for several American relocation companies and count Ford, General Motors, Chrysler-Jeep, Volvo, Johnson & Johnson, Isuzu, Amazon, and BHP among my clients.
I am constantly researching, designing and testing better ways to learn languages, especially English.
My focus is on my students and achieving the results they want.
