About Orla
I am a dedicated ESL tutor with 15 years of experience working with high school and college students. Teaching English is something I truly enjoy because it gives me the chance to make a positive difference in students’ lives. I have successfully taught around 150 to 200 students, each with unique learning goals and challenges.
This experience has helped me develop flexible teaching methods that suit different learners. I focus on improving grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills while also building confidence in speaking and writing. One of my proudest milestones is seeing students overcome their fear of English and start communicating confidently.
Many of my students have improved their academic performance and communication abilities. My classes are simple, engaging, and interactive. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. My aim is to guide and support students in their journey toward success.

I use a practical and interactive ESL teaching methodology that combines real-life examples, case studies, and problem-solving exercises. Lessons show students how English is used in conversations, work, and academic contexts, making learning relevant and meaningful.
Motivation is central to my teaching, and I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, and learning from mistakes. I maintain integrity by providing honest feedback and clear guidance. Flexibility is a key part of my approach, adapting lessons to each student’s pace, level, and goals. Along with ESL, I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and writing to support holistic language development.
