About Alison
I have been teaching English for 20 years in the UK and abroad. I have taught English privately, in Further Education at college and Higher Education at university. I have taught students whose first language is not English as well as those for whom it is.

I adapt my teaching to the individual's needs by listening to what they feel they need as well as making suggestions as to what I feel might help. I like to develop confidence in learners, so I encourage them as much as possible. I will make you work hard, but hopefully it will be enjoyable too!
