About Rebekah

Hi! I’m an English teacher with over 10 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, and I absolutely love what I do. My goal is to make learning English fun, approachable, and meaningful for every student I work with. I believe that learning a language goes beyond textbooks—it’s about building confidence and finding ways to connect with the world. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and adaptable, so whether you’re working on grammar, preparing for an exam, or just wanting to improve your conversation skills, I’ll tailor lessons to fit your needs. I’m passionate about creating a warm, supportive classroom where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. There’s nothing more rewarding to me than seeing my students grow and succeed. When I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me exploring new books, traveling, or trying to master a new recipe—and I love bringing these experiences into my lessons to keep things fun and relatable. I’m excited to share my love of English and help you on your learning journey!

About the lesson

My teaching method is student-centered, adaptable, and goal-oriented. I believe every learner has unique strengths and challenges, so I tailor lessons to individual needs while maintaining a structured foundation. Key techniques include:

Communicative Approach: Prioritizing real-life communication skills through speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities.

Task-Based Learning (TBL): Using practical tasks (e.g., writing an email, debating, storytelling) to develop language competence.

Scaffolded Learning: Breaking complex concepts into manageable steps, ensuring understanding before advancing.

Error Correction with Encouragement: Offering constructive feedback while reinforcing positive language use.

Interactive Resources: Incorporating multimedia tools, articles, and authentic materials to enhance engagement and cultural literacy.
