I’ve been playing drums for a couple of years before I met Giovanni. Unfortunately, l did not remember much theory and had a rather poor English vocabulary in music terminology, but it wasn’t a problem at all - he was explaining everything along the way, sometimes with literally his hands.
Giovanni is immensely passionate about what he is doing. I had a pleasure to watch him play a gig once and there is nothing more inspiring than seeing not just a spark, but a whole bonfire in his eyes while doing what he loves the most. Because of him, I started considering being a professional musician, rather than playing just for fun.
And just as a cherry on top, Gio is genuinely a lovely human being. He supports and encourages like no other, especially when I’m feeling like a complete failure. Every lesson fills me with joy and motivation, and no words would express how much it means to me at this point of life.
If you ever plan to learn drums, I sincerely recommend Giovanni. He’ll focus on your goals, regardless how serious you take it, will keep you entertained or challenged - and all this in 3(?) languages. Make sure you’ll learn from him before he’s too busy touring around the world

Giovanni is an excellent musician and marvellous tutor. He has gave me useful and practical advice on my sense, skill and technique and taught me how to respond to the music, which all these are crucial for me to learn and practice to be a good drummer. He has been so sensitive and attentive to every note I played. I have gained great improvement and considerable progress under his guidance. I really enjoyed every lesson!
