About Jelayah
Hello! My name is JJ and I’ve been dancing for 10 years. I’ve trained in Hip Hop, choreography, House, KRUMP and more under members of Street Legends, The Lab, S-Rank, and ChoreoCookies. I’ve participated in World of Dance 3 times, Vibe Jr. 2025, and competed in all styles and KRUMP competitions. I choreograph many pieces for dance teams and teach all ages locally. I look to share my knowledge with anyone eager to learn and be a part of this beautiful culture and art form.

Dance is an art form with many elements and genres. Hip hop in particular has so much history and fundamental importance that hasn’t been taught in today’s youth. As an instructor it is my goal to share that knowledge to help students create a firm foundation in their groove, vocabulary, and approach in learning choreography.
